Art Deco Beehive Cloud Milk Glass Light Shade

These beautiful beehive-shaped light shades are honey-coloured with chocolate and caramel swirls. A wonderful example of Art Deco style and craftsmanship.

Cloud Glass was invented by George Davidson’s glassworks in 1922. It is heavy pressed coloured glass with a small amount of darker glass added at the last minute of the molten process to produce cloud-like streaks. It is hand finished and each piece has a unique pattern.

These pieces are both in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. As with many shades of this age, there are some small nibbles around the gallery rim – not visible when fitted.
